creative advertising and writing, design should be youthful and eclectic
hi, i'm sophie!

These days, I’m channeling that insatiably creative, unwaveringly curious middle child energy into...
...and I have always been exactly like this.
As a kid, my mom would joke that I was "always hard at work, even in my play." From painstakingly directing my (incredibly patient) cousins in plays for our parents to re-drawing the signs for my lemonade stands dozens of times until I got the lettering just right, I never stood a chance of not pursuing a life in creative communications.
My book-making (nerd alert!) themed sixth birthday party and "Most Likely to be Editor in Chief of Tiger Beat Magazine" superlative at my third grade graduation only solidified my conviction that I was destined to work at the intersection of thought-provoking words and awe-inspiring artwork. Lucky for me, Syracuse offers a degree in that!
-
Attending one of the nation’s top undergraduate advertising programs and serving as creative director of its in-house ad agency
-
Permanently damaging my sleep schedule as Editor-In-Chief of SU’s premier student-run magazine
-
Traveling as much as I possibly can (coastal Maine is next on the docket!)
-
Committing to my role as the token non-drama major in 'cuse's improv comedy group
-
Obsessively curating playlists for my weekly radio show
-
Hunkering down at my desk and setting to work on whatever cute craft I just saw on Pinterest
